At this point in time, most enterprises are in the cloud in some way, shape or form.

But, as concepts, use cases, products and services develop and spread, it’s not always clear that the cloud plan you put in place five years ago (or even one year ago) is suiting your current or future business case.

Multi cloud or hybrid cloud, serverless cloud or containers? There’s many options on the table but, beyond the obvious, what do they all do?

Are you monetising and deriving the best value you can from what you’re using, and are you fully clear on the potential of what’s available?

In this interactive Computing web seminar, we’ll be joined by cloud industry experts to take your live questions and reflect on live polls from you – the audience. We’ll also reveal exclusive new Computing Research to identify current cloud trends, successes and pain points among your peers across the UK IT industry.

It is a rare occurrence to see the founder and managing director of a successful business sitting beside a goat at his office desk. But nothing is out of the ordinary for Zak Edwards, business leader of gifts and gadgets retailer Prezzybox.com.

The entrepreneur founded Prezzybox.com with his family in 2000. The ecommerce company has since established itself as a dependable, nationally-loved retailer for finding fantastic gifts. Shipping up to 5,000 orders daily across the globe, Prezzybox.com is one of the leading lights in the online gift space.

Zak has developed a flexible, non-hierarchical workplace of over 20 staff members, claiming his want to be “the thickest person in the room” when nominated for The Guardian Small Business Leader award in 2014. His triumphs stem from empowering his staff and encouraging fun and creativity within the company and its products, valuing happiness above everything else for both staff and customers alike.

His passionate and enthusiastic approach has publicised Prezzybox.com within many media outlets including McDonalds’ “Monopoly” campaign, as well as appearances on Bloomberg, CNBC, ITV’s This Morning, as an advisor to the finals of The Apprentice, plus appearances on BBC radio and in daily nationals. The ambition to explore new initiatives has even seen the home-grown business introduce a new scheme for schools called “Learn2Earn”, which rewards pupils’ educational achievements and assists teachers in motivational learning.

Zak’s drive, vision and compassion has pulled Prezzybox.com through tougher times during the recession as he has developed a multi-million business from the beginnings of a barely furnished, borrowed office with not even a phone to hand, ultimately making Prezzybox the vibrant, fun, and extraordinary company it is today.

Zak is an in-demand motivational speaker, covering all things ecommerce and digital marketing.
