About this webinar:

Over the last two years cloud migration has been dramatically accelerated and today more enterprises than ever before aspire to be “cloud first” or “cloud only”. Without embracing the benefits of cloud technology, organisations recognise that they may get left behind or outcompeted.

However, the rush to the cloud – often as matter of survival or transformation – has left many enterprises with difficulties including security issues from poor configuration, inadequate monitoring, and an ongoing drain on constant trouble shooting. Previous Computing research has demonstrated that sprawling infrastructure, cost creep, and a widespread lack of resources to cope with demand are pervasive problems when moving to the cloud and can mean that security issues go undetected.

This webinar, featuring bespoke Computing research, will examine organisations’ cloud journeys, the complexities of multicloud and hybrid cloud environments, as well as the pain points around monitoring, management, and interoperability. It will also explore the shortage of skills and resources, lessons learned from security blind spots, and discuss how enterprises can find a way forward without compromising their need for speed. Finally, it will look at the experiences of organisations that are unclouding.
