Cloud native brings a new set of security challenges, with end-to-end visibility, monitoring and detection becoming more difficult. As software delivery and deployments become continuous, legacy tools struggle to manage the increase in information processed and analysed in the cloud while maintaining compliance. Organisations that are building applications, infrastructure and workloads in the cloud therefore need a cloud-native solution focussed on securing data centre and server workloads outside of the traditional security perimeters.
Cloud native security platforms must provide visibility across silos, allow for continuous monitoring, respond quickly to security issues and misconfigurations across the whole application development lifecycle, and scale as required.
The following webinar will explore how cloud native organisations are currently approaching security and why legacy security tools are failing to keep up. It will look at what IT leaders want from cloud native security platforms and the steps they need to take to implement full-stack security.

Before Colin joined Sumo Logic, Colin worked at VMware, where he was responsible for market development and field readiness initiatives to grow VMware’s Telco Business. Prior to this, he successfully developed and delivered sales and partner enablement VMware’s NFV and Cloud Management Business.
Anne works with the commercial technology content team producing whitepapers, reports, webinars, multimedia digital experiences, videos, and articles on the latest industry trends. Formerly, Anne was a science writer for the American Institute of Physics.
Currently Ben is working for Doximity, the leading digital platform for U.S. medical professionals which includes over 80% of all U.S. physicians across all specialties and practice areas.
He joined the company in 2018 on the Devops team and within a year, set out to build a security team(s) to meet the challenges of the business and improve our security culture.
Prior to joining Doximity he has worked in a variety of roles and leans on all the prior experiences to help understand that security is not simple, easy, or boolean. “The only secure system is one that does not exist”. We cannot prevent all incidents, as such it's important to create visibility and mature processes for Security Incident Response (SIR) in addition to working to proactively prevent incidents before they happen.
