His experience includes the tech transformation of catalogue-and-phone DIY retailer Screwfix Direct into the e-commerce powerhouse it is today, Ted Baker’s cloud migration and ERP modernisation programme, as well as extensive technology due diligence and acquisition led projects, in the Assurance & Compliance and Publishing markets of Australia and North America. Stuart now represents LogicMonitor, who provide the platform that has aided Stuart’s work for nearly a decade.

Steve joined Equinix in November of 2014. From his technology strategy and leadership roles he knew technology disruption was fast approaching and that Equinix would be right in the middle of it, so he relocated his family from NYC/NJ to Silicon Valley to co-define and launch the Enterprise Market Strategy.

Denise Dourado

Director - Enterprise Platform Services – Change, HMRC

Denise joined HMRC in April 2017 and is responsible for leading the core Engineering function within HMRC’s IT department, as well as the Cloud, Data Platform and messaging teams. Denise and her team are delivering an agenda of stabilisation and improved resilience to the department’s current IT estate, as well as migrating its services from their current data centres to Cloud (both Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure). An on-premises facility, Crown Hosting, has also been established under the programme’s governance. In addition, Denise has delivered a new Cloud Centre of Excellence within HMRC to ensure that ways of working are adapted to deliver successfully and efficiently in the Cloud. Denise has also taken on responsibility for developing the plan and programme to remediate wider Technical Debt across HMRC’s estate. Prior to HMRC Denise worked at NHS Blood & Transplant (NHSBT) as Director of Transformation. Denise’s IT career started at Price Waterhouse Coopers (PwC) where she was responsible for delivering a number of IT changes across PwC’s global IT estate

and channel-based businesses. In recent years, Adrian has been working within the Data

Protection product team at Quest driving the technology portfolio and working

as a product evangelist. Before this as the EMEA Pre-Sales Manager for the Dell

Software Data protection team and EMEA Technical director for BakBone Software,

ensuring delivery of presales activities throughout the region. Adrian currently

works within the Quest Software CTO office and continues to drive the

technology strategy and work as a product evangelist for Quest Software

Direnc Dogruoz

Principal Product Manager – Interconnection EMEA, Equinix

Direnc is responsible for Equinix’s new interconnection products and services including the commercial development of Equinix’s cloud initiatives in

EMEA. He has over 20 years of experience in the technology, interconnection and telecoms industry.

During his career, Direnc has held various senior roles at Equinix, Telecity and Sprint/T-mobile, a major US carrier,

including leading Sprint’s network team in EMEA, product development, sales and marketing. 

Direnc holds a Bachelors in Computer Engineering and a Masters in Electrical Engineering with a minor in

Business from the University of Kansas, USA.
